shamira was still not here, but we're hoping for next week! today we really got down to business, here's what we discussed:
- we thought of a LOT of different ways to fundraise and promote the club. i'll ask mrs baker across the hall if she can help us with fundraising, since she's part of student council.
~some ideas for activities include community service (ie cleaning public places, bingo at islander express [confirmed by mr whitecalf], and anything else you can think of.
~ideas for promoting the club include new button and poster designs (you can contact me, jose or shamira about any designs), and adding a shop section to the website to sell buttons and any other merchandise.
- more on the promotion thing, mr whitecalf got us a bingo night at islander express! i'll have to ask about the date and time, but when i post it you can sure come down.
- minor update to the discord server. i added a suggestions channel for people to suggest fundraiser ideas, activities, and etc.
- mr whitecalf is also looking into either renovating the greenhouse or building a new one.
next meeting we will meet in room 218-a to start, but we'll be going outside! be sure to come!
